GET NOMINATED

The awards are open to art professionals worldwide in 8 categories: Painting Figurative, Painting Realism, Painting Abstract, Photography, Sculpture, Illustration, Mixed-Media/Graffiti and Digital. You can submit in more than 1 category. It is easily done here.

“It will be an honour for our Nominees to be part of such a great event.” says organiser Ms Joëlle Dinnage.

She continues: “The ceremony will be live streamed from the Bund, Shanghai with its amazing backdrop of the city’s iconic business district skyline. The Finalists do not have to attend in person as Covid-19 has made travelling a little tricky. So for this years’ event we have integrated live-streaming of the ceremony. The winners will then be announced. Each winner will receive the winnings by post, and will have the chance to sent in a thank you video, which will be broadcasted on all our channels, including to the press in Shanghai.”

VOTING

Everyone is invited to vote online on the Global Art Awards website here. From the top 100 most voted the jury will announce the Finalists on 10th November 2020. THE PRIZES

Winners of The Global Art Awards 2020 will receive a trophy, a title to claim for live, free exhibition opportunity at the next Shanghai International Art Fair, along with promotions and international press - all worth more than $ 10,000 USD in each of the eight categories.

“Everyone that participates has the opportunity to shine and stand out.” says Ms Dinnage.

“The Global Art Awards were created to honour and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of artists, galleries, and art professionals worldwide. Awarding the outstanding artist live to the public and press, giving the winners the recognition that they deserve, boosting their career and a 'Best Global Artist' title to claim for the rest of their career.”

SUCCESS STORIES

Some of the success stories of previous winners are phenomenal! Artists have grown from attic hobby painters to selling in art galleries worldwide for tens of thousands of dollars a piece. Great successes have been established after winning the awards, also by ‘Toni Sanchez’ a painter from Spain. He has won in both the first as well as the second edition of the awards, and had pieces of his works commissioned by His Highness Sheikh Saeed Bin Tahnoun. His artworks are now hanging in H.H. palace in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.
